DLR Berlin office

As Germany's largest engineering research institution, the German Aerospace Center (Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt; DLR) contributes to solving urgent societal problems and promoting Germany as a location for business. This can only be achieved through dialogue between science and society. The Berlin office facilitates DLR's communication with the German federal and state governments.

At the Berlin office, we use a range of approaches to bring DLR's expertise into the political debate and to present DLR's research areas to a broad political audience:

  • We offer events in a parliamentary environment.
  • We prepare information on DLR's expertise for our political contacts.
  • We are available to answer questions and offer talks to political actors.
  • Elected representatives are invited to get a first-hand impression of DLR's research at DLR locations across Germany. Here, too, we are the first point of contact.

With its work, the Berlin office strengthens DLR's role as a competent partner in political affairs.
