Washington office
Since May 2018, DLR's Washington office has been headed by Marc Jochemich, who holds a degree in Geography from the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms University in Bonn and a Master's in Business Research from the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. He has been working at DLR since 2007, previously at the German Space Agency at DLR and in the International Relations department. The team also includes Juliane Fox (Management Assistant and Office Management) as well as our research assistants Florian Gutensohn and Felix Spiekerkötter.
The DLR office forms part of a German office partnership with RGIT (Representative of German Industry and Trade), gtai (German Trade and Invest) and the DFG (German Research Foundation) in a shared office suite on the 12th floor of an office building. The office suite includes two meeting rooms with modern presentation and conference technology. The premises are suitable for holding lectures and receptions for up to 100 people and can be used for events, conferences and meetings of DLR and its cooperation partners.
