View of the Kocher Valley from the International Space Station. The River Kocher is a tributary of the River Neckar. German ESA astronaut Alexander Gerst’s hometown, Künzelsau, is located on the lower reaches of the River Kocher, about 40 kilometres east of Heilbronn. Gerst took this photograph on 15 July 2014.
