After the successful docking with the International Space Station by the fifth and final supply spacecraft, ATV-5 'Georges Lemaître', on 12 August 2014, German ESA astronaut Alexander Gerst opened the connecting hatch a day later. The 'nose' of the ATV can be seen behind him.
