Bright spots in the interior of Occator Crater
This image of Occator Crater was acquired by the Dawn spacecraft from an altitude of 1470 kilometres. The enigmatic light spots in the crater’s interior are significantly brighter than their surroundings and are frequently overexposed, so two images with different exposure times have been superimposed to produce this view. The resolution is 140 metres per pixel.
