On 14 March 2016 at 10:31 CET, the ExoMars 2016 mission of the European Space Agency, ESA, and the Russian Federal Space Agency, Roscosmos, lifted off on a Proton launcher from the Russian Cosmodrome in Baikonur, headed for Earth’s neighbouring planet.
