Topographic map of the Acheron Fossae rift
This map shows a part of the Acheron Fossae, a system of tectonic rift valleys on Mars. The colour coding of the image shows the height differences of the surface (blue = low, yellow = high). The images shown in the article were acquired in the region inside the small rectangle within the strip of images taken by the HRSC camera during Orbit 15641.
