M55 Geophysica in Kathmandu (Nepal)
Following years of effort by various international research teams and numerous failed attempts, the consortium was successful, for the first time, in gaining access to the unique airspace above the Himalayas and carrying out measurements with the M55 Geophysica high altitude research aircraft in Nepal, India and Bangladesh up to an altitude of 20 kilometres.
