Opening of the 'Space4ourPlanet' exhibition
During the Living Planet Symposium, DLR and ESA will be presenting the 'Space4ourPlanet' travelling exhibition, open to the public, outside the WCCB. The exhibition is sponsored by the United Nations and showcases how space flight and the UN's Sustainable Development Goals are linked. The exhibition was opened on 23 May 2022 by (from the left): Walther Pelzer, Member of the DLR Executive Board and Head of the German Space Agency at DLR; Simonetta Cheli, Head of ESA's centre for Earth observation (ESRIN); Fiorella Colioli, initiator of the 'Space4ourPlanet' exhibition; Katja Dörner, Mayor of Bonn and Josef Aschbacher, ESA Director General.
