The Tantalus Fossae graben system lies east of the four-kilometre-high Alba Patera volcano in the northern hemisphere of Mars. The elevation information in this topographic map can be interpreted using the colour bar below the image. The High Resolution Stereo Camera on ESA’s Mars Express orbiter, which is operated by the German Aerospace Center, acquired a strip of images on 19 July 2021. The images shown here are of the landscape in the inner rectangular section.
