Traffic measurement of the A4 near Dresden using radar satellite
TerraSAR-X monitors part of a 17-kilometre-long tailback on the A4 autobahn west of Dresden - 156 larger vehicles, especially lorries/trucks, were automatically detected and monitored. Actually gantry cameras measured twice as many such vehicles within this zone. The satellite monitoring will close this gap as its techniques improve.
