The global energy report drawn up on behalf of Greenpeace International by DLR in cooperation with other institutes, concludes that even when the still rapidly growing energy consumption of countries like China, India and Brazil is taken into account, the global demand for energy can to a large extent be kept in check by implementing efficiency measures and by consistently putting renewable energies to full use.
