superARTIS at the EnBW Schwienau wind farm in Lower Saxony
Together with the energy company EnBW, DLR is investigating whether the use of drones can simplify logistics for offshore wind turbines. Researchers from the DLR Institute of Flight Systems used the unmanned DLR superARTIS helicopter for flight tests. These tests were conducted as part of the 'Upcoming Drones Windfarm' project.
