From the ISS to Earth – tele-handshake with NASA astronaut Jonny Kim
To conclude the final Surface Avatar experiment, DLR researcher Neal Y. Lii (pictured) shakes hands with NASA astronaut Jonny Kim on board the ISS. DLR's Rollin' Justin robot served as an avatar – whose force feedback system made it possible for both Jonny and Neal to feel the hand pressure and movement of the other.
