First hot-fire test of the complete upper stage of the new Ariane 6 launch vehicle at the German Aerospace Center (DLR). This test is a major milestone in the development of Ariane 6. The teams from DLR, ArianeGroup and the European Space Agency (ESA) succeeded for the first time in fuelling and cooling the new upper stage and in hot-firing the Vinci engine for 45 seconds.
