Antennas have been ready for reception in Neustrelitz for over 100 years. Today, around 110 employees of the German Aerospace Centre (DLR) work and conduct research here in the fields of space weather, satellite data reception, satellite remote sensing, navigation, maritime traffic and maritime security.
