Joint Venture Management
The Joint Venture Management Division is the central internal and external point of contact for all matters relating to our participations, institutional collaborations and memberships.
Its services primarily include independent and transparent legal and business advice. In cooperation with customers, Executive Board and specialist departments, the department represents our interests in an effective partnership both externally and internally in order to create added value for us at various levels. The focus is on the specific scientific objectives and goals pursued with the respective participation, which are defined in advance on the basis of our strategic objectives.
For the purpose of technology transfer, our strategy aims to significantly increase the number of spin-offs in the medium term. Accordingly, we are stepping up our support for spin-offs. In addition to purely corporate participations, co-investment in the form of an equity stake is also possible.
The employees in the Joint Venture Management Division are mainly generalists, with special expertise in specific legal or business areas.
