Guided tours for visitors at the DLR site in Lampoldshausen
Guided tours for visitors at the DLR site in Lampoldshausen
We cordially invite you to get to know DLR Lampoldshausen better. To this end, we opened the DLR Forum for Space Propulsion in 2013. It offers all interested visitors the opportunity to gain an insight into our work and current developments at DLR. The exhibition shows unique exhibits and films from 60 years of space history, including a Vulcain®2 engine and a model of the upper stage from the Ariane launcher family. Visitors can also gain an insight into current developments at the site, such as the increased use of hydrogen as an energy source.
Guided tours for groups of 10 to 20 people:
Guided tours of the exhibition can be arranged for groups of 10 to 20 people with prior registration. If you are interested, please complete this visitor group request form and send it to the public relations team.
The most important points at a glance:
A guided tour usually lasts two hours and includes a site film and a tour of the exhibition. A tour along Talstrasse can also be offered on request.
We offer guided tours free of charge and ask for your understanding that there may be longer waiting times in the event of increased demand.
Guided tours are only available by prior registration and appointment.
The guided tours are held in German, and also in English by prior arrangement.
It is possible to have lunch in our 'Casino', the DLR canteen, from 13:00 (coffee and cake is also available). Please note that you can only pay in cash in our canteen. Our canteen accepts registrations for lunch up to two weeks before the event.
