This image shows a parabolic trough power plant at the Plataforma Solar de Almería, owned by the Spanish research centre CIEMAT, in Spain. Through many years of cooperation with its Spanish partner, CIEMAT (Centro de Investigaciones Energéticas, Medioambientales y Tecnológicas), DLR has gained important experience through the joint construction and operation of the Plataforma Solar in Alméria.
