KONTUR-2 – joystick with force feedback technology
The KONTUR-2 joystick will be used to control the ROKVISS robotic arm. For instance, the joystick registers the resistance if the robot arm collides with another object. The German Aerospace Center (DLR) experiment is planned for August 2015, and will be performed on board the International Space Station. It will use telepresence to control the robot arm fitted at DLR Oberpfaffenhofen.
