Part of the Imhotep region showing the location of water ice deposits
Along the bottom, broken edge of this roughly semi-circular structure, which is approximately 300 metres across and located at the boundary of the Imhotep region on Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko, is one of the areas where water ice was detected on the comet’s surface. It is assumed to have been exposed by erosion processes.
