Support during the approach phase
The European research project DYNCAT is investigating where regulatory changes in air traffic management can make approaches more efficient. The project team is developing suggestions for improvements, taking into account both airborne and ground operations, and is developing a function for flight management systems to support pilots in aircraft configuration management during the approach phase.
