LRU2 (Lightweight Rover Unit 2) has a gripper arm and several tools in its 'luggage'. For example, it can choose to use a shovel or a gripper hand to pick up soil or rock samples. LRU2 weighs approximately 30 kilograms and travels at a speed of four kilometres per hour. It is considered to be an 'assistant' in the team.
