The command capsule (‘Snoopy’) and lunar module (‘Charlie Brown’) during Apollo 10. On 22 May 1969, Cernan and Stafford carefully backed Snoopy away from Charlie Brown and descended to a height of 14.5 kilometres above the Moon’s surface.
