Professor Melzer and the team of the University of Greifswald with the COMPACT experiment
The 40th DLR parabolic flight campaign will test the interaction of a special 'Zyflex plasma chamber', developed at the DLR Institute for Materials Physics in Space and now operated at the University of Greifswald, with the stereoscopic camera set-up for three-dimensional particle tracking at the University of Greifswald. Both are central components for the planned ISS experiment COMPACT (Complex Plasma Facility).
