Data collection on site in Kazakhstan via an app
Experts on site in Kazakhstan entered their observations into an app. Among other variables, they record the size of the affected area, the locust species present and the developmental stage and number of locusts per square metre. The app, developed in the Locust-Tec project, transmits the results directly to decision-makers in a digital format.
