Measurement campaign with the ATR 42 research aircraft from Safire
Icing sensors developed by the SENS4ICE project participants are installed under the wings and on the aircraft fuselage. During the flight tests, some measure the atmospheric icing conditions and others the ice build-up on the aircraft, particularly for supercooled large-droplet conditions.
