New research platform for rocket engine development
With the LUMEN demonstrator, DLR has developed a research setup for liquid-fuelled rocket engines that is unique in Germany. It is flexible in design and easy to maintain, can be operated on a modular basis and thus cost-effectively bring innovative launcher technologies into industrial application.
