This image, dating back to 2020, highlights the intensively cultivated agricultural landscape northeast of Hildesheim. The Hildesheim Börde is distinguished by its exceptionally fertile black earth loess soils. The primary arable crops are winter cereals (various shades of blue) and sugar beet (purple), complemented by maize (pink), potatoes (brown) and rapeseed (yellow) as catch crops.
