This map depicts types of crops and primary agricultural uses in Germany, at a resolution of ten metres. This 2019 representation highlights the Lechfeld plain south of Augsburg. This highly fragmented agricultural landscape is primarily characterised by winter wheat (blue), barley (brown) and maize (pink). These are complemented by a diverse range of other uses, including sugar beet (purple), potatoes (dark brown) and grassland (green).
