DLR scientist Veronika Eyring
Veronika Eyring works at the DLR Institute of Atmospheric Physics and is also Professor of Climate Modelling at the University of Bremen. Her work significantly contributes to improving the understanding and accuracy of climate predictions through process-oriented modelling and model evaluation. The results serve as an important basis for decision-making in international climate policy and for technological impact assessments in aviation, space exploration, transportation and energy research. Among her many contributions, she served as the coordinating lead author of Chapter 3, 'Human Influence on the Climate System', in the Sixth Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).
