DLR and ADAC Luftrettung measurement campaign investigates the use of bio-kerosene in rescue helicopters
DLR's mobile measurement vehicle in operation at the Bonn-Hangelar airfield. Using this vehicle, a DLR team investigated the performance of a blend of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and conventional kerosene in the ADAC Luftrettung rescue helicopter 'Christoph Rheinland'. The tests were carried out at the end of the helicopter's shift.
