FAIRS aerial camera system
The 4K camera system developed by the DLR Institute of Remote Sensing Technology was expanded as part of the FAIRS project. It consists of a sensor pod with a total of three cameras, an inertial measurement unit and antennas, and a compact computer rack for real-time online processing. The camera system enables high-resolution aerial imagery to be processed in real time, for example in traffic applications or disaster management.
