DLR's humanoid robot TORO
The humanoid walking robot TORO (TOrque-controlled humanoid RObot) can walk steadily, climb stairs and scramble over obstacles. The DLR Institute of Robotics and Mechatronics is using TORO to study bipedal robot locomotion. At automatica 2025, TORO will demonstrate its new ability to perceive and respond to its surroundings.
