Arrival at the airport, one day after splashdown
Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski had a tight schedule: undocking from the International Space Station on 14 July at 13:15 (CEST), splashdown off the US coast of California on 15 July at 11:31, flight to Cologne and arrival at :envihab on 16 July at 12:19. At the airport, he gave a brief initial statement to the media before heading straight on to :envihab, DLR's aerospace medicine facility. The Polish ESA project astronaut will stay for about a week, during which time he will be cared for by DLR and ESA teams.
