Final adjustments to the control electronics of the ion trap
Several research flights were conducted over Erlangen, as the ion trap used for the experiments is located in the laboratory of the local Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light. Here, a scientist checks the ion trap settings. The flight experiment took place as part of the QuNET initiative, aimed at developing quantum-secure communication.
