Human-Machine Interface aboard the International Space Station ISS
This image shows the input interface developed by ESA's Human Robot Interaction Laboratory, which was installed on the ISS and is used to remotely control robots on Earth. In addition to a graphical user interface and a joystick, the astronaut has a haptic input device with seven degrees of freedom, enabling the user to feel the robot's interaction forces.
