Flying while standing
To simulate being airborne, DLR's D328® UpLift was mounted on a special air support developed by DLR together with Fabreeka. The support was mounted beneath the landing gear axles to effectively decouple the research aircraft from the ground, so that its movements were not distorted as measurements were taken.
