The TACHELES CubeSat
The TACHELES CubeSat, developed by Berlin-based company Neurospace, will travel aboard the Orion spacecraft as part of the Artemis II mission, where it will be released into orbit around the Earth. TACHELES is designed to remain in orbit for two years, transmitting data back to Earth. This data will help the start-up to further develop its rover system. The focus is on the impact of space radiation on the electrical components of a future rover – particularly when passing through the two highly radioactive Van Allen belts between Earth and the Moon.
