The solar corona in UV light
This high-resolution image shows the Sun in ultraviolet light, revealing its upper atmosphere, the corona. It was taken by the Extreme Ultraviolet Imager instrument on the European Solar Orbiter mission and is a composite of 25 individual exposures taken on 22 March 2023.
