Full view of the BECCAL apparatus in the ISS EXPRESS rack
The BECCAL apparatus will be installed in an EXPRESS rack on the International Space Station (ISS). A single rack unit contains the electronics system, a double unit contains the laser system and another double unit contains the physics package. Laser light and power are distributed between the units via fibre optics and cables, but these have been omitted from this diagram for clarity.
