CLEANLIEST – a holistic approach to evaluating sustainable hydrogen technologies
DLR's CLEANLIEST project investigates how the use of hydrogen in the transport sector affects the climate. It aims to accurately record emissions along the entire hydrogen value chain – from production to use in aircraft, trains, ships and trucks – and assess the economic impact. Its findings provide important guidance for developing a hydrogen economy that can support the transition to a sustainable transport sector.
