                      FAQ

Here you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions about our main research areas: Sustainable Aviation and Clean Combustion.

                      FAQ Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF)

We provide answers to frequently asked questions about sustainable aviation fuels (SAF). They are almost identical to kerosene, but come from very different sources.

Frequently Asked Questions about gas turbines and energy transition

Technical combustion processes will continue to play a role - wherever electrification is difficult to achieve and whenever the sun is not shining or there is not enough wind. Our aim is to further develop combustion processes for operation with sustainable chemical energy sources in such a way that they release virtually no more pollutants.
