Comparison between 2021 and 2025 – offshore wind capacity
The image compares completed wind turbine capacity worldwide, which more than doubled between 2021 and 2025. In China, capacity has increased at a disproportionately high rate. Researchers determined the capacity of the turbines for the USA, the UK, the EU and China, as well as for South Korea (right) and Vietnam (bottom right).
