After 100 days in the sealed compartments of their 'space station', the participants stepped out into daylight on 1 August 2026 at the DLR Institute of Aerospace Medicine, following the end of the isolation phase of ESA's SOLIS100 study. For over three months, the six participants lived under strict rules and with the limited resources of a space mission.
