Fire service and @fire personnel tackle a blaze
In September 2024, the FIREmobil crisis management and disaster control exhibition took place in Welzow, Brandenburg. Participating security authorities and emergency services exchanged experiences on the challenges posed by forest, land and vegetation fires, as well as flooding. The DLR Institute of Space Research, together with the relief organisation @fire, demonstrated real-time mapping based on MACS data using the example of a wildfire scenario.
