Human Physiology Workshop
Since December 2016 the DLR Institute of Aerospace Medicine together with the DLR Space Administration organizes the annual Human Physiology Workshop at :envihab, the research facility of the Institute of Aerospace Medicine. In short talks the work in the physiological fields of aerospace medicine, extreme environments, exercise and clinical physiology is presented and discussed. A creative and friendly atmosphere allows the scientists to present their work and to get a direct feedback.

KNIMS - Kompetenznetzwerk Immobilisationsbedingte Muskelstörungen
Muskelschwund und -schwäche sind ein Problemfeld mit stark anwachsender Bedeutung in der Medizin. In vielen Fällen sind Bewegungsmangel und fehlende Trainingsmaßnahmen Mit-Verursacher. Bisher existiert kein Fachpodium, auf dem Diagnostik und Therapie immobilisationsbedingter Muskelstörungen diskutiert wird. Ziel der Veranstaltung ist es darum, wissenschaftlich und praktisch tätige Kliniker und Grundlagenforscher in einem Netzwerk miteinander zu verbinden.
