Numbers and their analysis

Data is a vital raw material of the modern age and forms the foundation of public discourse. The German Aerospace Center (DLR) has, since its inception, collected, processed and analysed data across all its fields of research – preparing and presenting it in an accessible format.

Since early 2022, DLR has been providing information on current socially, politically or economically relevant topics for journalists and the interested public in the publication series 'Data and Facts', in the form of graphics and explanatory texts. The compilations and presentations are based on research and analyses conducted by DLR and other research institutions, as well as ministries and authorities.
